Last updated: March 21, 2026

Helio Track is developed by Goranson Digital LLC. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.

Information We Collect

Helio Track collects only the information necessary to provide sun exposure tracking functionality:

Location (city name): You manually enter your city name during onboarding. We use this to retrieve local weather and UV data from OpenWeatherMap. We do not collect GPS coordinates or precise location data.

Skin type and exposure preferences: You select your skin type and typical sun exposure level during onboarding. This information is stored locally on your device only and is never transmitted to our servers.

Sun session data: Your session history, vitamin D totals, and streak data are stored locally on your device using your device's built-in storage. This data is never uploaded to external servers.

Third-Party Services

OpenWeatherMap: We send your city name to OpenWeatherMap's API to retrieve weather and UV index data. OpenWeatherMap's privacy policy is available at openweathermap.org.

Google AdMob: Helio Track displays ads served by Google AdMob. Google may collect device identifiers and usage data to serve personalized or non-personalized ads. You can review Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.

Data Storage

All personal preferences and session data are stored locally on your device. Goranson Digital LLC does not operate servers that store your personal data.

Helio Track is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
